Spring ......

Hi all....the weather here has been very cold.  The fire has been constantly burning,
uggies are always on, and there is very little greenery and colour around to inspire me.
But.....I have been coping very well, you would be proud of me!....well, those who know me,
and know how bad I cope with winter, will be proud of me.  I have been very
positive and feeling like, perhaps, winter may very well be on it's way out.
Wishful thinking maybe?.....perhaps, but the peach blossom may just be
the reason for this spark of positivity.  Ok, Ok, I know that we have a little
while left of winter, and perhaps some pretty hideous frosts are on their way,
which could be the demise of these beautiful blossoms.
But who could blame me for seeing these beautiful flowers, and thinking.....
HELLO SPRING!......

Wishing you all some spring blooms in your world. x

YOU CAPTURE / Black & White

I pass this shed on a regular basis, and have always
wanted to photograph it.  I have seen it with some amazing skies
behind it, and wished I'd had my camera with me on those days.
The day I finally had my camera with me, and the time to stop,
the sky wasn't so amazing, but I think it looks interesting
in Black & White.  I think Black & White conveys 'mood',
don't you?.

School Holidays.....

Hello all, it's been awhile.....Hope you are all well and happy.  We have
been very busy around here these school holidays, and having a great time.
Of course first up was a visit from Marni, Nita and Fiona and all the kids
minus two.  We had a great time as always.  As the kids get older it gets
alot easier for us to really enjoy each others company without so many interruptions!
This time we even enjoyed a bit of pampering with lovely facials and foot massages
and champagne and chatting by the fire, while the kids kept themselves
totally entertained while playing Bear Grylls!.  Yep, they love the whole survival
gig....they made fires, and shelters and tried to cook bananas, and had a
great time with each other, as always.
Summer and I then followed the girls back to Brisvegas for the decadent
side of the holidays.....shopping, while the boys hung at home doing....
well....boys stuff!.
We are now back into the daily grind, and we have a few projects going on around here
at the moment, so I will keep you posted of our progress....although Shane has now got
the flu, so progress may be a bit slow coming!.   But that is something we are
used to...you don't live where we do for a fast paced life, that's for sure!.
