These are just some of the beautiful vintage sheet FQ's that arrived in the mail a couple of weeks ago, thanks to Kellie. And so I know I said I was going to make a quilt out of them (still have full intentions!), but first I thought I would try my hand at some bunting.....

And they turned out absolutely beautiful..... so I thought that I would give one away so that someone else might appreciate them also!!. All you have to do to be in the draw is leave me a comment. New Layouts....

I gave myself a challenge to try and use up alot of my scrap so I could justify buying some more!. And luckily it was easier than I thought...

It's so nice to actually have a recent photo of her. I usually dislike school photos, they are so rigid and bland, but I love this one because I think it truly captures her beauty. ( and because she is actually smiling with her teeth, which she never does for me!)

I love the paper from studio calico and the ribbon thingy down the bottom is a hem from a vintage sheet. Thanks for the tip on using masking tape Fran, and I think I have finally caught the transparency bug! (it will be on my shopping list)!

So I think I've used up enough to consider another restock.....(of course I have, it's already in the mail)!!

Introducing....

Little Miss Chelsea. What an absolute cutie. This was a very impromptu photo shoot, and the light was still very harsh....but I luckily managed to get a few good shots regardless. Next time though we will be prepared and organised and get Chelseas sister Ali in the pics!!. I hope you like them Mel, and yeah, their mum will be in them also!..

Ahhhhhhhhh, now that's better. I need to start thinking about the colour of the tiles for the splashback, any suggestions?....
The plan is to have a built in kitchen..one day, but this free standing kitchen from Ikea, has served us well, as we had an instant kitchen while we were still building....very handy!
