Hello everyone, I hope this finds you all well & happy....and not too cold!. It has been a very busy month around here with lots of illnesses before the holidays started, and during! So now the kids are back at school I am feeling just a little bit exhausted, but very grateful for a holiday well spent just hanging out with each other. Shane had two weeks off, and although I was getting frantic about having nothing planned for the time, we decided to just go with the flow and take a few day trips here and there if we wanted. We started our first weekend with Troy & Bec in Ballina for two nights. It was SO GREAT to see the beach again!. The kids enjoyed themselves even though the weather was shite. I have never really explored Ballina but I was quite impressed with the beaches and access to them and it was great to explore the rock pools. This is Summers idea of heaven, she would spend hours there if she could, exploring all the pools and identifying little creatures. We went to the Tea Tree Plantation and enjoyed the rainforest walk and some sculptures and a maze.

Marni, Nita & and the kids came down for a couple of nights, and of course we had a wonderful time, so much so that Summer & I returned the visit and spent a couple of days in Brisvegas. Lots of fun!
And then we finished the holidays off by driving to Tamworth & picking up our new car!. I don't know what universe I was in when I thought it was possible to live out here with one car. NOT Possible!!
